Magical Thinking is the solo project of singer\/songwriter Orange Kid (Robert Flato). A New York native and now California resident, Orange Kid creates an eclectic sound, exploring both sides of the pop and experimental music spectrum. These kaleidoscopic expressions vary from delicately gentle\/sweet to dense\/
\nengrossed in darkness. This juxtaposition adds to the overall experience of Magical Thinking. Rich textures, lush synths\/guitars, and flourishing melodies answer your ears with audible pleasure.<\/p>\n

Creating music since he was only a child, Orange Kid composed his first song at the age of 6 (the melody of which he can sing to this day). A myriad of projecs followed, primarily based in New York, which have culminated in Magical Thinking. Venturing into music was always the plan,so he writes,records, and practices his craft constantly. There\u2019s never a period where creation falters. No time is wasted, as Orange Kid is always producing a new way to present his quintessence. He\u2019s constantly hard at work sculpting sound, illustrating harmony, and painting textures for you to listen to and enjoy.<\/p>\n
